It will be either one of two things:
1 - ONLY the iTMS Movie Store and perhaps updated Nanos;
2 - The BIG ONE, the EARTHQUAKE we've been all waiting for...

Why not just make a Mini type box with 802.11n with DVI/HDMI/S-Video and Digital/Analog out ports.Connect that to the tv then stream from your computer or the movie store.While we're at it toss a hefty HD in the mini for recording.
It's much more convenient too.Just sit on the couch and surf Front Row for movies then buy it and send it to the tv.POW! one step..

Its important to always note context.
Windows may be generic but only when you're trying to trademark the term for actual windows. Windows doesn't describe an OS... It is the same with office. If they wanted to call Office "Word Processor" it would be considered generic because they are trying to trademark the generic term to describe something.
App Store IS generic in that same sense.
But I think consideration needs to be paid to the circumstances too. There have been MANY application repositories many with names like "Marketplace". The term App Store was always there for the taking but none used it because it was a generic term that they didn't think was catchy.
Now Apple has used the term and it has become a household term associated with Apple... There is a brand awareness there they cultivated without needing a trademark.
Now that all the work has been done and people have an association with App Store the other companies want to use to for no other reason than to cash in on the strong name brand APP STORE has.
It is certainly incredibly generic but it does have strong brand association, consumer trust and recognition that was completely created by Apple.

You cannot CUT and paste in SL, only COPY and paste using the built in OS shortcuts.
I hate having to open two folders just to drag a file to MOVE it, so I had to pay $4 in the MAC App Store to get that functionality...Here you go (http://lifehacker.com/#!5622046/cut-and-paste-files-in-os-xs-finder-with-automator-services). Yes, it's not built in, but that doesn't mean it can't be made to work. Meanwhile, while some have tried, there is still no good hack to put expose into Windows. At least not one I've seen. Sure there is. They released the 4g iPod in Newsweek. Think of the 100's-1000's of people who handled the Newsweeks who weren't covered by an NDA (and that announcement leaked, too, including the cover of the magazine...one day early; sounds familiar, eh?). Apple did say to expect more announcements in unconventional ways, and less at keynotes.

Great news as I have been riding out my 2007 iMac and was tempted to buy one a few weeks ago. Glad I waited and will be first in line for the new iMac's! Wonder what problems we will face though? As it seems all new launches have. Anyone want to buy a Mint 24" 2007 with a 500gb HD (Fall 2007) Ati radeon 2600 Pro?

This just threw a spanner into my plans !
I've got a late 2007 non-unibody MBP - the "ultimate" which I've been updating as much as possible (Hybrid SSD 512Gb drive, 4Gb memory, etc etc) - I love my MBP but my applecare warranty just ran out last month. Which, I thought, was plenty timely so I could get the new MBP that just refreshed - quad core, 16Gb RAM seems like a LOT more power !
But, I didn't "jump" immediately - I always wait a couple of months to see what issues develop with the product line (the 17" range seems to have some graphics issues evidently, which seem to be resolved now) - BUT, with this rumor, do I plump down $4k for a maxed-out MBP now or wait until this new case design ?!?!?!
My current MBP is working great. The keyboard has a sticky "D" key, but apart from that, its been the best laptop I've ever owned, and the second longest I've owned before a refresh (the prior record holder was a Sony Vaio PCG-V505BX which I used/upgraded/refreshed a full 5 years before needing to upgrade !)
So what do I do ? I wasn't planning on buying the MBP until next month, after I got back from vacation...

Anyway, here is my two cents.
Going a certain speed above the limit is not unsafe in itself. What makes 90 MPH+ unsafe is no one else is going 90 MPH most likely. The difference in speed between you and the rest of traffic is the unsafe situation. If everyone was going 90 MPH as you were, then going 25 MPH over the limit is irrelevant as there isn't an unsafe situation given that everyone is going 90 MPH, paying attention to the road, etc.
Now don't get me wrong, I hate people who cruise in the left lane as well. I don't care what the speed limit is, if traffic is moving 80 MPH in a 70 MPH zone in the left lane, then you go 80 MPH or stay out of the left lane. If you go to pass someone and change into the left lane, then speed up to the speed of traffic or change lanes when there isn't going to be someone behind you so you don't cut the person off that was in the left lane already going faster than you are. I also don't care if you want to be a cop-wannabe and slow faster traffic down to the speed limit which in that case your cop-wannabe butt is causing an unsafe situation, not everyone going 10 above the limit. Just change lanes and let them pass. It is safer for everyone if you do that. And please do pay attention to your surroundings and don't create a rolling roadblock. Is it that hard to keep situational awareness?

You don't tailgate people, don't honk, etc. Flash to pass is a concept that no American knows about because our drivers ed courses are pathetic. But, it still doesn't excuse what you did and I hate drivers like you. Please slow down.
I am a big proponent of making drivers ed as tough as it is to get your private pilots license.

Identity theft is not malware and it's not targeted at just Mac or Windows. It can be done without using computers at all. There is no antivirus software that can protect a computer from the user's own stupidity or gullibility.

But if you think keyboard capture code isn't being used for identity threat and/or want to lump anyone who has every run into such malware as "stupid" or "gullible" well my opinion of you just keeps dropping even lower. I cant downplay a windows phone cause I only had one in my hand for 30 seconds or so, Windows has its work cut out for them against apple eco system of devices and intergration. Best of luck to the competition. Competition is a good thing.

O2 has nothing to do with Orange. They're completely seperate companies with different parent companies. I believe Orange are owned by France telecom, where as O2 are owned by Telefonica.
